Hello My name is Chestener, I am female and American of primary African ethic background. I know of some Indian and Anglo in the mix....so to speak.

I am named after my mother,and she isnt sure of where the name originated,she only knows her father named her. As he is deceased and her mother also..that is pretty much that.
There are no Chesters in the family on my grandfathers side that I or my mother are aware of. I mention this because its often suggested by others that it could be a feminine form...just a thought.
