I have a girlfriend from Armenia whose name is pronounced NOO-nay. However, since Armenia has its own alphabet, she got to choose her how to spell it in Roman letters when she came to the USA. When she first arrived, she used Noune; now she prefers Nune. She's also tried Nunay.
