But do not trust it ... Sanskrit is a language which is pretty well documented, and we need not atribute eveything to it.(The Hindi roshan, roshni etc. are of farsi origin, not Sanskrit.)

I agree with you, but couldn't this be the bong pronunciation of Rashana ( waist ornament) or Rasana (tongue) in Sanskrit ? :-)
