Meaning and origin
I want to know the meaning and country of origin for the name Mariori (its my daughter's name)

In good faith, I am a bit perplexed as to why anyone would name anything with a word of unknown meaning. When Mitsubishi decided to give its SUV the exotic sounding name "Pajero" it faced a major embarassment - the word means wanker in S. American Spanish. So the model in question is now now sold as "Montero" in N and S America :) But I digress.
In Greece, Mariori is a common(though somewhat dated) nickname for Maria.

And for most Americans we will have to explain what "wanker" means as that is British slang --
it means "masturbater."
it means "masturbater."
In central America "pajero" means liar. Pajiarse is a "slang verb" meaning to masturbate
aka "Malaka" in my neck of the woods :)

And, I'm sorry, I don't know what Mariori means Becky. I looks vaguely Japanese to me, and the beginning makes me think of Maria, but those could mean nothing.
