Pronounce Lev

I really want to like Lev but I am not sure how to pronounce it correctly. I have heard both Lehv (like left) and Lee-ehv (like Liev Shrieber). Anyone have an answer for me?

In Hebrew it's pronounced LAYV or LEEV.

It depends on the language the speaker took the name from. I believe Lee-ehv is Ukrainian pronunciation and spelling (Liev Shrieber is Ukrainian). If it's spelled Lev I'd assume it's Lehv.
