Also, would the pronounciation be different? If you see Lilah as short for Delilah, then it would be pronounced as "lie-la".
But what is the most common pronounciation of Lila? Lee-la or Lie-la?

You're right! I pronounce Lilah "LIE-la", but I never thought of Delilah! I love the meaning of Delilah, but not the story. Do you think that Lilah's meaning could be synonomous with Delilah's?
