Calandra
I just heard this name yesterday, and I find it lovely. But I haven't found any trustworthy information on it.I'm thinking it might have something to do with the Greek word "kalos, which means beautiful. The only thing I know for sure is that there is a greek town called Kalandra. Anyone have information about this name? Thanks!

It's also Spanish for skylark. It's not often used as a name in Spain, but even though it's unusual it sounds pretty good.
It's Greek, meaning...
... something long the lines of "The beautiful one" from Greek elements kalos- beuaty nd andros- man (as in universally not as in the male gender itself). You can even check the user submitted entries on it.
