Maria is a Latinate form already of the name Mary.Ester means "star" ...hmm.. the closest I could guess would be "Stella" also meaning "star" in Latin, but I don't know here.Sorry I couldn't be of more help!-Seda*

Amarita StellaAmarita = bitterness = Mary
Stella = Star = Esther(as Seda pointed out)
The anagram of Amarita Stella is, aptly, 'alias maltreat'

My Vulgate Bible simply transliterates the name Esther as Esther. They don't tend to mess with some foreign names, though her Hebrew name, Hadassah, is Latinized as Edissa.
