I went to school with a Flerida--she was Filipino. Beond that, I can't say I know anything about the name.

I'm sorry I haven't been able to find a precise meaning for your name anywhere on the 'net, or in any of my reference sources.

I'm going to take a guess and say that your name is a blending of French ("fleur- ") and Spanish (" -ida") and means "little flower".
