In Cate Tiernan's Wicca/Sweep book series, Sky Eventide's coven name is Athar. The book says that Athar means "sky", but it doesn't tell you in what language. The book sometimes uses (not very accurate) Irish as the "Wiccan language", but I know the Irish word for "sky" is "spéir", not "athar". Athar actually looks like "athair", our word for "father". Does anyone know what language Athar means "sky" in?
