my name
I looked on the page for Japanese names and could not find mine. I'd really like to know what it stands for in Japanese. I figured "iko" stands for child of or something child
any help would be appreciated

I have no idea what "ru" means, but "mi" means beauty, "ko" means child. I happen to know that "Rumiko" is a popular Japanese girl name.
"Ko" means child (not iko, just ko), but in order to really get an exact meaning of the name you'd have to look at the kanji characters that make it up, as the same name phonetically may often be written using different kanji and therefore having a different meaning...
The 'ko' is definitely child, though. I'd have to check up on the 'rumi' to see if there is only one set meaning for it.
