How ares the J's pronounced? It has elements of lots of languages, so I'm not sure. Like, how would you say Luchjo?

Js are prn just like Ys in English. I think Luchjo would be prn LOOCH-yo. Here's a website that will tell you more: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esperanto_phonology
