You should try the Name Opinion Boards. This board is for questions about meaning, usage etc.
And about the comments, I wouldn't care too much about what they say. Many are written anonymously and by people who just want to say bad things about certain names. They can be hurtful but I'm pretty sure they don't reflect the general opinion.
