MY NAME
I already wrote about it, but nobody took care about it. My name is Sahar, and I'm a 13 years old girl. I searched my name and I discoverd that the meaning and the usage are wrong. My name is Sahar, and it means 'moon' in Hebrew, also, its usage is Jewish. BTW, its gender is Feminine & Masculine, at least in Isreal.
I know somebody just ignore my last message because I also wrote about the name Shachar, and it has been fixed. I know this site is very trustworthy so please don't just ignore it. I want to make it better!
Thank you!
Sahar.

I don't think what this site says about Sahar is wrong, just incomplete.
The comments section on the name has a post by "Auriel" which seems to explain it pretty well to me. Sahar is a name meaning "dawn" in Arabic and Persian, but the word "sahar" means "crescent moon" in Hebrew, and I am sure some modern Israeli parents have given their daughters the name Sahar with that meaning in mind. :)
