I had a baby girl in 2001 we named her Braelynn because our other three children were named with BR My mom came up with the name. I would love to find out the orgin and meaning can anyone help with this.

I wonder if your mother has misheard or misread Briallen (pronounced 'bree-ahl-en') a pretty welsh name meaning 'primrose'.
This is the nearest I can find. Certainly your baby's name looks celtic.
