My son is doing a surname project and we are trying to find the meaning of our surname Devers. I believe it is either English or Irish. Does anyone out there have any information that might be helpful? We would really appreciate it! Thanks! Janet Devers.
P.S. My son's name is Malcolm and his grandfather's name is Theodore William Devers. We are caucasion.

Perhaps you could also search Deever. Which just might be Irish ...
