What's the meaning for Kina?

Hi my name is Kina, but I could not find it on this site. BTW I'm from Holland. Now I know that there is a tree named Kina from which quinine is made, but I don't know if that is what the name means. I believe that is only the dutch name for the tree. In english I think it is cinchona.
I hope you can find out.

Hi Kina,

In Holland, the name Kina comes from names ending on -kien, which is a Dutch diminutive ending. Examples are: Hendrikien, Freerkien, Jopkien.

In some other countries (eg Scandinavian countries) Kina is a short form for Kristina and Katarina.
