A name I can't find:
There is this male French name I found in a work of literature, but I can't find the meaning. The name is Theophraste, I believe. I assumed it had something to do with God ("Theo") although I don't understand the latter part. Can anyone help me?

Théophraste is the French form of Theophastos. The -phrastos part is related to speaking.
Here are some articles that include the etymology of the name, but each phrases it differently:

so it would be basically "God speaks" or "God is speaking?"
