Question on Saints' Names
I'm curious about something. The Vatican II removed saints from the list that they could find no information or proof of actual existence. While browsing the site I noticed that a few saints were mentioned as "probably mythical" - is that determined by the Vatican II documents or other historical documents?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I have never heard that the Catholic Church did remove saints because of lack of proof of existence.
All my books about saints list saints that did maybe not exist (at least not with the name and biography that we know).
It is really the first time I hear about that. Do you know more about it? How many saints have been removed?

Can you post a link to the site mentioned?
Vatican II isn't a site.

I was referencing to this site - like with Perpetua.

Forget it, found my answer.
He used Catholic Online, which I'm fairly sure lists only the "recognized saints"
