it may be a form of
Laura / Lora
Feminine form of the Late Latin name Laurus, which meant "laurel". In ancient Rome the leaves of laurel trees were used to create victors' garlands.
or prehaps a variantion of
Loris a pet form of LORA or a short form of DOLORES.
I myself have seen it as a surname and once as a boys name
