I heard the name "Wiesje" today and i wonder what it means. I think it is a name from Northern Germany because i know that "Swantje" is a frisian name.

According to Seibicke's Historisches Deutsches Wörterbuch, WIESJE is a pet form either of ALOYSIA or
LOUISE
.
