About the name Hellana (origin? pronounciation?).
in reply to a message by brendan maher
I have found this name by chance in a magazine, it's the name of some model (I have no idea if she is known at all), and I just thought: Wow, amazing. There's something catchy about this name that intrigues me... I looked it up on the web but there seem to be very few people bearing the name and not much info about the name itself.
One page suggested that it's a variant of Greek Helena.
I'm not a fan of randomly misspelled names AT ALL (one thousand Kaylie spellings and all the Braydins and Braedens and Bradens...), so I really hope that Hellana is kind of a more "common", "traditional" variant, like maybe Helen is of Helena or Katherine is of Catherine or vice versa.
Does anyone have any information about Hellana at all? Ideas?
How would you pronounce it in English and/or in your native language, whatever that maybe?
Thank you so much for your help!
