I would like to know the pronunciation of a children's book title and the author. The book is Igraine the Brave. Igraine is used as a girl's name. The German author is Cornelia Funke. How is Funke pronounced? Thanks
Igraine is pronounced ee-GRAYN. Ygraine is a variant, and my preffered spelling. It's been one of my favorite names since I was a kid.I don't know about Funke, but my guess would be just like the word "funk."
