Hello.
We are writing reflective essays in my English class and the subject is "Name meanings". There's a kid in our class who can't find the meaning of his name, and I can't find it either. The name is "Tufoua". If anyone can tell me or let me know where to find out I'd appreciate it. The name is either Somoan or Hawaiin if that helps, and his middle name is "Isaac".

Well, it is definitely Samoan, not Hawaiian, as the letters "T" and "F" do not occur in Hawaiian. Your best bet is to find a Samoan language or culture group on the Web to ask this question to.
