Ailyn [? meaning, origin ?]
I really like the name Ailyn, but have no idea where it comes from and what it means. Can anyone help me out?

Although it may still be possible that on occasion Hispanic Americans have used Ailyn simply as a "Hispanicized" spelling of Eileen, in South America it evidently is primarily thought of as a name from the Mapuche language, as discussed in the following former thread on this board:
