Another meaning for Amy?...

In the comments section for the name Amy someone anonymously stated that the name means "dark Goddess," "bringer of evil," or "she who entrances". I don't know that I like the evil bringing one, but the other two I kind of like. Anyone know where these meanings behind the name could have come from?
