Jeremiah
Is there a feminine form of "JERIMIAH" which means Yahweh has uplifted?

There's a journalist where I live whose name is Jeremey-Anne. (Or perhaps Jeremey-Ann; but Jeremey is definite.) Someone obviously wanted a fem version, and this was the result.

I have never found a feminine form of any '-iah' name (Zachariah, Beriah, Obadiah, etc).I would presume this is because Grecized/Latinized forms already appear feminine and thus prevent simple suffixing.Though I'm not aware of one, there may indeed be a modern Hebrew feminization with an '-it' suffix of such.

how about spelling variations?I don't know of any feminine form, but now a days guys names like Jordan and such have become girls names, and Jerimiah isn't all too masculine to me, but changing the spelling might make it seem more feminine, plus i know girls who go by JerryJerimia
Jerrimya

Or perhaps...Jeremia. Simply dropping the H on the end of Jeremiah could feminise this name.Jeremina
