English Queens named Mary
The entry on name "Mary" states that there were two English queens by that name, which is correct for queens regnant (Mary I, daughter of Henry VIII, and Mary II, wife of William III and co-ruler with him). However there have been other English royals by that name: Queen Mary of Teck, wife of George V, and Queen Henrietta Maria, wife of Charles I, who in England was generally called "Mary" (state of Maryland is named for her). There may have been others.

For what it's worth, I agree with your information. It struck me as odd that BtN only listed two queens of England with this name. I didn't think of Queen Henrietta Maria, but Queen Mary (of Teck) did come to mind.
As for this board, opinions on names, I should note that I love the name Mary. It may have been overly used in the past, but the newest generation of baby girls could use more Marys. As you say, it is the name of queens. :-)
