Shenazar
I just read this on someone's profile:"I'm engaged to an incredible guy named Shenazar. It's pronouced Shen-uh-zarez. But anyway he would rather be called Shark. In college. This is my first year! "--Am I wrong thinking that Shenazar is a made-up name?

InterestingBut I still find the pronounciation "Shen-uh-zarez" weird. I would pronounce it as "Shen-uh-zar"."You sought a flower and found a fruit. You sought a spring and found a sea. You sought a woman and found a soul. You are disappointed."

I think you're right, especially with this pronounciation.I know a woman from Iran named Shahnaz, and Shenazar LOOKS like an Arabic, Indian or Persian name. If you're not familiar with these languages/cultures, it is hard to know which one is real and which one is phony."You sought a flower and found a fruit. You sought a spring and found a sea. You sought a woman and found a soul. You are disappointed."

I had a women's studies professor once whose name was Shahnaz. :)
