Fabienne is the French form of Fabiola, just like Pedro is the Spanish/Portuguese form of Peter.

Fabienne as form of Fabiola... use logic, please.Fabiole, voici la forme francaise qu´il sied de juxtaposer a Fabiola, la forme latine, diminutive de Fabia.

Well, Fabiole is not in the database here, so I did not know that was an option.I know Fabiola is a diminutive form of Fabia. Fabienne is the French feminine form of Fabian, so it is still related to Fabiola. That sounds perfectly logical to me.

Being related, derived from a common root or name (Fabius, in that case) is not the same as to be derived of a certain form, yet offspring of Fabius.
