I was just wondering how "Shimon" is pronounced if it is the first name of an Australian (not Jewish) male- I know, in this case, that the first syllable is pronounced as it is spelled ("shim" with a short i), but I do not know how the second syllable is pronounced. If any one knows, I would really appreciate finding out. Thank you!
