a question of Gwendylan
would the meaning of Gwendylan-be White sea ?. I know it sounds like Gwendolin, which means White ring, but I think it's a different name than , but I could be wrong.

Gwendolen means white ring. Gwendylan just looks like a combo of Gwen and Dylan. Dylan means great sea, so I guess you could say that it means great white sea or something like that. I've never seen it before.
Gwendylan - white/fair/pure of the sea

Gwendalen - white/pure/fair leaf
check it in a welsh lexicon, but theres a lot of welsh words beginning with d which have a similar sound
