This is a male first name. All I can find about it is that it's a Muslim name that means "wise" I need to know if it is an Arabic name (as opposed to Turkish or Persian) and also... how to pronouce it?

It is an Arabic name - and it is pronounced Kay-san - in arabic it is spelled (romanized) Kaf-ya-seen-Alif-nun
To my knowledge its popularity is derived from a prophetic tradition from the prophet Muhammad wherein another derivation of the root form is used.
