my sister has a very unusual name and she has always wondered the meaning.My dad said he got the name from the daughter of a friend.He never knew where they got the name....her name is Tevra.If any one can help..it would be appreciated.thank you.

Could it be a Jewish name? (Yiddish) Just a guess.

U'm well I don't know what I can do you help but all I can say is don't let your sister get put down because of her name. Your name is not what or who you are it's just what people adress you by. I hope I was a help.
