I'm trying to find the meaning of my husbands great grandmothers name.
The name is Novaline. She was over 90 years old. We are planning on using the name for a middle name of our daughter and I just wanted to find out the meaning and anything else about the name.

Novaline is an Italian place name, the name of a district in the Trentino region of northern Italy. This, however, may be a coincidence. It is just as likely that your husband's great-grandmother's name was simply invented by someone who combined Nova with Arline.
