do 'DeAnn' or 'Terrasel' have any meanings?
i met a girl whose name is Terrasel(pronounced 'tear-a-sell')and another girl whose name is DeAnn (pronounced 'de-ann' just like its spelled). both are americans and their families have lived in the US for several generations, so i doubt these names have a foriegn origin. the first girl said she thinks it may have bn her afican american father who came up with her name. the other was sort of named after her father, who was named Dee. if anyone has any info, i would greatly apreciate it. thank you!

DeAnn could also be a varied spelling of Deanne, which is either a form of Diane or a feminine form of Dean.

DeAnn could either be a combination of Dee and Ann (and therefore have those two meanings combined) or it could be a variation of Diane, ultimately from Diana.Click on the Dee, Ann and Diana links for more information.

Thanks Chrisell. I think the combination of Dee and Ann sounds the most likely. 8)
