McClellan

McClellan: "Son of the devotee of St. Imchad" (Gaelic).

Also found MacLellan, which might be related: MacIllFhaolain, Clann 'IcIllFhaolain. "Son of the servant of St. Fillan"; a quite numerous family in Galloway in the 14th C. Some Maclellan's of Perthshire claim to be a branch of Clan MacNab. Maclellan.

MY LAST NAME IS OBERDORFER AND NO OTHER SITE HAS ANY INFO ON IT SO WHERE DID MY ANCESTORS COME FROM? ALSO MY MOTHERS MAIDEN NamE IS KARDOS AND I FOUND SOME HISTORY.
