Rehanna
Can someone tell me the origin of Rehanna? Is it Arabic or Welsh? Thanks in advance.

Rayhaan/Rehan/Rihan/Rehana/Rihana (and many other alternate transliterations) come from Arabic and mean sweet basil. Others might use Rehanna as a variation of Rhiannon, so I think it depends on the context.

It's possibly a variant spelling of Rhianna, but if you gave us an idea of where you heard it, that'd make it easier to know. It could also possibly be a feminine of the name Rehan? (I've found listings for Rehan as an Armenian name, but none of them have been from really reliable sources. Wiki lists Rehan as a "word in Arabic and Hebrew meaning 'fragrant one'", but again, not exactly the world's most trustworthy source.)Array
