Greetings,
I am looking for any interpretations of the egyptian goddess name Nephthys. This particualr goddess is sister to Isis.
Nephthys is the greek name ( much like the greek Isis for the egyptian Aset). The original egyptian name of Nephthys is "Nebt-Het" or "mistress of the house". However, that doesn't seem to be the origin of the name the Greeks gave her.
Anyone have any clues?
