I have a friend name Ariannys, and I would like to know what does it mean and where it comes from, all that I know so far is that the part Ari means "holy"

What is the cultural origin of the name? Ariadne and Arianne indeed mean "holy" in Greek. On the other hand, in Hebrew names, "ari" means lion.
