Well, I've searched and searched... and my friends have... and the closest is "Tancred"... If anyone knows what it means, please, please tell me. I know that it was originally a French Family name, probably of noble origin, but that's it. Thanks!

Hi Tanqueray,

Tanqueray is a Frankish version of Tankred, which is the Norman version of the Old High German name Dankrad/Dankrat which means "thought" + "counsel".

tanqueray is the name of a very popular trand of Tequila in Spain, so maybe it is mexican, i'll try to find out
