I wanted to know what this name means and its origin. My mother was born in 1951. At that time my uncle was in Germany in the Armed Forces. He heard the name, "Dweice". My mother was named this. We have yet to find out what the meaning of the name, "Dweice", is. Please help me find its origin. So many people ask me, and all I can tell them that it is believed to be from Germany.
