Bulgarian names
Hello, I spent last week in an orphanage in Bulgaria, and got to know some of the children. However I only know their names phoenetically, so if anyone could give me the written versions of these few (in the roman alphabet), I would be very grateful.
Many thanks,
Alice
Note: This is how they sounded to me, but I could be wrong so there's some leeway
meet-kah or meet-koh (I think this one is Mitko, but I'm not 100% sure)

pleh-min

san-yay
deh-mee-ahn or deh-mee-ah
roh-san-kah
rah-jess-tee-nah
boh-yahn
Many thanks,
Alice

meet-kah or meet-koh (I think this one is Mitko, but I'm not 100% sure) - if it's a boy, it would be Mitko, a pet form of Dimitar.
pleh-min - I'll bet it's Plamen, though it's pronounced PLAH-men
stef-kah - Stefka
deh-mee-ahn or deh-mee-ah - Damyan
rah-jess-tee-nah - Radostina
boh-yahn - Boyan

First, try looking for them yourself. Here are the Bulgarian names:

In fact, they could be any name. As being in Bulgaria does not mean that the child would be given a Bulgarian name.
For instance, considering that these names end in "ka" ...
stef-kah = pet form of Stefania
roh-san-kah = pet form of Rosana
