I found some Selva María in Mexico, where there was a soap opera named Selva María, and (in Portuguese) in Brazil. Perhaps the origin is Nuestra Señora de la Selva? (I don't know if this advocation exists or not, actually).

It is possible the existence of other advocations to Our Lady of the Jungle in more places in Central and South America (and perhaps North America because of the Selva Marías of Mexico).
