Dear friends,
I am translating a book about the Philippines. And there are some names I am not sure how to pronouce. These names are or originally came from Spanish words, but when they get to the Philippines, they seem to be pronounced differently. So I want to check just to make sure whether the letter "h" in these following words are pronounced by the Philippines as a regular "h" as in English or as an "a" as in Spanish.
The words are:
haciendero (landowner)
Hacienda Montealegre (a place near Canlaon Volcano in western Visayas)
Bahia de Bais (a hostel in Bais City)
