Can you find this name origin?
Hey,
I don't know really who I'm writing to but if you could find out anything about the name, meaning, origin, ect. of the name Dusk, I would really appreciate it. I've gone through other sites and search engins, but they give all the information except what I listed above.
Thanks so much.

Now that you know what "Dusk" means, thanks to PriaposLovs, I'll just mention that, for a girl, I think "Vespera" is a far prettier name, and means the same thing.

A perfect twin name for Vespera would be Anatole. West 'n' East.
Boy star names for Jessica?
That's a cool pair-up, P.L., and "Vesper" and "Anatole" might be a couple of good suggestions for Jessica below, who was looking for star names for boys.

...especially since "Shady"is taken by Eminem
What's behind Eminem?
"Eminem, the Real Slim Shady"=
"Elementary, idle mishmash"
"The remedial, aimless hymn"

Man, those Grammy awarders are easily impressed these days. And Elton John makes friends too easily.

Mah Daddy always warned me to be leery of frenly Elton Johns...
Could it be that Eminem is *behind* Elton John?
They're turning into the music industry's own Butt-spread and Heave-us.

Butt-Spread, America's favorite breakfast topping for...oh, never mind.
You are writing to the right people :)
Dusk means as we all know, the darker stage of twilight. Dusk is Middle English for dark, and originated from the Old English word "dox".
