But the popularity lists for before 1900 are only for Australia and England.
There is, though, a chart that shows the top twenty-five names of 1850, comparing the names of the United States, Canada, England, Scotland, Ireland, Mexico, France, Sweden, Norway and Germany.
I'm not sure how reliable it is but hopefully it should be some help.
