I have been searching everywhere to find the name GOULDEN and its meaning. It is my fathers company name which has derived from his fathers middle name, and who has since passed on. My father's buisness is doing very well and I would like to think that the name has a playing part...I believe his father, Sydney Goulden Tayor, is watching over him. I would love it if you could find the meaning of GOULDEN as my father would hang the name proudly in his office.

Howdy,
Our name is Goulden.Older family members state that it is very English and others say French. Who knows? We have alot of German blood two previous generations back. Literally off the boat at Galveston,Texas USA.
Web searches have found Gouldens only in English speaking countries-UK,Aus/NZ & USA.
