A man with amazing strength.
the origin has already been explained, and it effectively has no meaning at all. It's a detached diminutive, a noun form used in many different ways - to indicate affection, disparagement, smallness, youth …
Was your younger brother named after the Brazilian footballer? If not, where did your parents find the name?
Unfortunately my parents named my brother after the brazilian footballer. I tried getting in touch with him (the footballer) but to no avail.
As you probably know, the footballer's name is Arthur Antunes Coimbra. According to this site: http://www.ofutebol.com/nicknames.shtml his sister called him Arthurzico, an alternate diminutive of Arthurzinho meaning "little Arthur," which was shortened to Zico. I have not been able to find evidence that others use -zico as a diminutive, so it might have just been a family-specific nickname that was intended to mean "little," without any actual meaning in Portuguese.
The diminutive suffixes -ico, -inho are usual in Portuguese names. And the addition of a [z] between the root and the suffix is not completely odd: Joaquim > Joaquimzinho > Quimzinho.

purely coincidental. names and words often have completely different meanings in different languages. You need only be concerned with the meaning of Zico (if any) in Egypt and Bangladesh if you plan on using it there. Could be they're just fans of Brazilian soccer.
