Kay-sha
meaning and origin of this name?
It's an old name, but the closest i've found is Kasha which is sanskrit.

It could possibly be Cacia, a short form of Acacia (uh-KAY-shah).
For Polish-speakers KAH-shah is the only accepted pronounciation.
Note that people do choose to change how a name is pronounced. Tomorrow I may start pronouncing Ashley as "Barbara" and if enough people do it it will be accepted. Note that words are fluid.
And how come everyone is stuck on Kasia? Why not Cassia as KAY-sha...
To answer the op - I definitely suggest that the name could be Keysha. ("e" as in "Ken" + "sha")

Kasia?
Oops, I'll try and hyperlink it this time :)
Kasia
I know the site lists its prn. as KAH-sha, but I've heard KAY-sha too.

NOT Kasia...
Despite what you might have heard...
Kasia pronounced as KAY-sha is wrong.

I didn't say it was right, I said I've heard it used that way.
